Having both a hospital/OBGYN birth and home birth with Kate, I can without hesitation say that my experience with Kate was the best. She is not only warm and caring, but professional and knowledgeable. I felt the care I received was so much more personal and thorough than the standard medical care, from prenatal to birth to postnatal.  Kate has delivered two of my babies, and I know if I ever have another she will deliver that one as well.

After having a very prolonged labor at home, we ended up having a hospital transfer, and after another 24 hours ended up having the baby with the help of forceps. While the delivery was not what we had hoped for, the thing that was excellent was that Kate and her assistant were there with us every step of the way and never left us during the entire time (two-and-a-half days!)...Having an educated team with us made all the difference...Kate knew when to recommend a hospital...and knew the OB/GYN at that certain hospital that would help us with the most natural delivery possible. Without her knowledge and experience...I don't know that the birth would have turned out the way it did.
